JESSICA DUNN ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Jessica Dunn is a British artist who has lived and worked in Portugal for over 20 years.
She studied Art Foundation at Kingston Polytechnic before moving to the Algarve to paint and enjoy the wonderful Southern sunlight. Her recent work has transitioned from the figurative to the abstract: textural impressions in acrylics - of land, sea and sky, influenced by the elements, intense sunlight and the drama of the landscape, constantly shifting and changing. Her paintings capture an impression of its transient nature, drawing the viewer into a world, reflective, tranquil and timeless.
Her work has been exhibited in the UK, including the Eaton Gallery in London; group and solo shows in various public museums and galleries throughout Portugal; the Affordable Art Fair in Brussels and recently “Anima Mundi” at the Villa Fabris, Thiene, Italy with Dadaprojects.
