KATRINA SLACK ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Katrina Slack is a multi media environmental artist. She works in a wide range of materials, from wire and fishing gear, plastic spoons to acorn pods, producing 3D sculptures and mixed media pieces. She also paints in oil, mixed media, acrylics and watercolours. Her work has been used by World Animal Protection in their campaign ‘Sea Change’ which highlights the danger of ocean pollution to our marine wildlife.
Originally from Devon, she has lived in Carbis Bay with her family since 2002 after moving from London where she worked as a photographer, garden designer and project development manager. She has been a lifelong environmental campaigner and her work is inspired by wildlife, the natural environment and contemporary issues.
