JAMES FREDDY FENNER ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
James Fenner has emerged as a self-taught ceramic sculptor in Brighton over the last five years, where his work has now become a distinctive voice for the psychological and spiritual. Reminiscent of ghostly alabaster figures, his sympathetic use of unglazed white stoneware offers a purity of tone that he fuses with limed wooden blocks; small intimate art pieces that provoke and challenge.
As an up and coming artist, currently exhibiting in the gallery, his work was first debuted in a joint exhibition with Ian Hodgson and James Hunting titled ‘Triptych’ in 2013.
